I bought this item because we live overseas and we travel stateside frequently. I have a 4 y.o. and thought this would be perfect for our plane and car rides. It is a great concept. I like the crayon holder but once you draw on the board it is EXTREMELY hard to wipe off. You do get a small round sponge eraser but it does not work very well. It really should be like a dry eraser board or something. Once my son scribbled on the board I had to erase it for him and I had to use some extreme elbow grease to erase it. It still did not come completely clean. Not something I would recommend to others.
