I purchaced the Obstacle Course bouncer for my daughter who is 3 years old. When we first set this thing up we expected it to be 1/2 the size it actually was, as there is no display in the store. Now we know why. Despite the large size, it inflated in about 2-3 minutes and our only child suddenly had many brothers and sisters coming over to play with her. To see the joy on her face when she is bouncing with her friends, makes it worth every penny. The Obstacle part of the course is great exercise and big enough for at least 4 kids which is the recomended maximum.
Now the value - we got it for 1/2 off during a sale which really makes it a great deal because that is the same cost as renting one. However you should be careful when dragging it or moving it, as the bottom can puncture quite easily over rough surfaces, but it will take quite a few holes to cause any kind of significant damage. So learn from my mistake and only move it using the supplied case or have somebody help you carry it which will reduce any chance of damage. The repair kit worked perfectly so it’s like new again. Since the blower must be on while playing make sure you have a durable 3 pronged extension cord if you don’t have an outlet close to where you plan on setting it up.
I would give it five stars for fun but because of the durablilty issue (which if you are careful will not be a problem) I am giving it an overall rating of four stars.
We purchased this for our 2 year old son and set it up at his party…it was a big hit! We had first purchase the slide and play and where disapointed it was so small, so we spent the extra $150. and where glad we did, because he will be well bounced out before he outgrows this one… We set it up at his party and there had to be about 8 kids in it at one time. I do recommend anyone buying one of these to put tarps under and all around the area outside of it…because the kids slide out and run around it and go back in..it will get dirty fast unless they stay on the tarps..also make them take off their shoes…and you will have a great toy for years to come..my friend has a commercial one and all there is to do is bounce.. this one is much better..it has obstacles to climb over and under and two slides, a great product…well worth the money…of course it’s a little on the heavy side but thats good you get what you pay for…good quality…..
