I bought it for my 18 month old and she really likes it. It is smaller than the other brands but it has more notes than most. This is a nice size product for a small child. I bought it for my 18 month old and she really likes it. It is smaller than the other brands but it has more notes than most. The sound is very tingy and the notes do not sustain very long after impact. The hammer is very light and bends easily.<p>If you want a cheap xylophone for your child, I would recommend the "2-in-1 Crocodile Keys Musical Instrument" by Fisher Price.
