I think this toy is great, my son recieved it for his first birthday. At first he wasn’t all that thrilled but in time when his interest and skill for pushing things with wheels grew so did they with this toy. The little door in the back really inrested him, he loves just opening and closing, and putting blocks inside to hual around, the nice gripped handle is great too. Really child friendly shapes and textures, colors etc. He can easliy carry it and push the train around and enjoys pushing it along with the construction dump truck one he has as well. He is almost two now, and still plays with these. Even though now he well put his older brothers Thomas the tank engine inside.

The little boys to whom I gave this toy at Christmas have had a grand time with theirs. They grab onto the handle and drive their trucks all over the house. Perhaps in their imagination they are going from job site to job site and building something fabulous. But the point is, they have fun.

There are various Little Tikes Handle Haulers, which gives them lots of opportunities. The colors are bright and each of the many trucks & choo choos are similar, yet different, so you can give one to each child and they will know which is theirs — though they probably will put them together for a fleet.

I am sorry for the gentleman’s son who was hurt. The boys who used these toys were one, two, three, and four. I think it is a matter of how they want to drive; they probably don’t work well as push toys.
