It’s refreshing to go through the Little Tikes Kitchen shop and see toys designed to teach kids the skills they will need when they eventually grow up.

The Little Tikes Kitchen

Little Tikes toys are all about stimulating the child’s mind and the kitchen toy is a real gem. Children playing in their own kitchen rather than getting into mom and dad’s pots and pans is a great idea. What’s so wonderful about the Little Tikes kitchen is that it gives the child a sense of ownership. It allows them to either cook up a slap up meal indoors or prepare a nice little feed for a crowd on the back patio. It’s simply left up to the child’s imagination.

One of the favorite features of the Tikes kitchen is the disappearing coffee. It seems so real and isn’t that what children love - acting grown up and playing out those roles mom seems so consumed in every day. Not only does it come with a great indoor look but it also has a very realistic outdoor environment. Siding and a stone patio combined with a great looking canopy and picnic table is enough to keep a child entertained for hours.

How about the cost? Well, you could be forgiven for thinking it might set you back several hundred dollars but the Little Tikes Inside-Outside Cook ‘n Grill Kitchen described above can be bought for as low as $140. That’s excellent value for such a substantial toy. You will need to assemble it and while it may challenge those without too many technical abilities, the instructions are pretty easy to follow and with junior’s help, it should be a breeze.
