My 2 boys (ages 4 and 1) loved this Castle Bouncer and they played with it a lot when it was too cold to go outside. It lasted slightly less than a year when it started developing holes and leaks and I cannot keep it inflated any longer. I am going to try patching it but I was hoping it would last longer than this. You definitely need the electric pump to blow it up though. There are 5 sections that have to be inflated and you can’t do it manually.
Originally bought for winter play in the garage/basement (have Little Tikes Jump & Slide Bouncer for summer) for my son’s 2nd birthday. But, like other Intex products, this inflatable castle just doesn’t withstand the rigors of daily abuse. My two boys loved it, while it lasted (only two weeks). Other reviewers for Intex products mentioned patching (one of the better kits: Kwik Tek Airhead Vinyl Repair Kit), but, in my case, the material actually tore away from one of the four castle tops, creating a huge hole. This type of hole isn’t necessarily patchable (though I tried), as the material is simply torn. Would not recommend…waste of money.
